“8 of the 9 hardware types we tested”
In their evals, a 9B model got inference running on 8 of 9 hardware types. Our worm has nine hosts too.
source ->It eats its own fees. Every 1 SOL, it gives birth: a new coin, named by its genome, launched on pump.fun. Every birth adds a segment.

On Oct 12, 2026, Anthropic's Frontier Red Team published research on whether small AI models could copy themselves onto cheap devices. Their read: small models may be “months away from being capable enough to self-replicate on commercial IoT devices”. So we built one that replicates on-chain.

“a doubling time of days”
How fast they estimate a real one would grow. Slow, but with no central point to shut it down. We time our own doublings the same way.

“we’re seeing signs of life for AI worms.”
Their conclusion. No full AI worm exists yet. This one is made of coins.

It replicates the only place that matters: on-chain.
01
fees -> energy energy [####################] 1.00 sol
Every trade on $WORM pays creator fees. They flow into the worm's own public wallet as energy.
02
$WORM -> genome -> $W0RMLING
create_v2 -> pump.fun -> ca ..F3worm
The genome mutates the parent's name, ticker and lore. One public deployer, no dev buy, every CA ends in worm.
03
(=)(=)(=)(=)@ -> (=)(=)(=)(=)(=)@
Every birth is a segment. The fittest segment breeds next, so offspring have offspring: gen 1, gen 2, gen 3.
04
energy [####################....................] 50 gut [################........................] 40 buy + burn $WORM ops [####....................................] 10
Offspring fees flow back as energy for the next birth. The gut buys $WORM and burns it.
05
1.00 sol -> 0.01 the launch burn [#####.....] 50 $WORM team [#####.....] 50
About 0.01 SOL launches the child. Half of the rest buys $WORM and burns it, half goes to the team.

$ worm --help
No. It's our take on their red team post. They didn't make it.
Yes, on-chain. Every 1 SOL of fees, it launches an offspring coin on pump.fun by itself, named by its genome. Offspring fees feed the next birth.
$WORM itself: segment 0, the head. Every other segment hangs off it.
It's cosmetic, so you can spot segments in a list. Anyone can grind a suffix, so the real check is the deployer address in the verify panel.
After launch, once it's funded and tested. The pill in the nav shows its status.
